Independent expert opinion on Reinforce After Forming Technology by Norman Berry. Member of The Plastics Consultancy

To Whom It May Concern

RAFT (Reinforce After Forming Technology)

I am an industrial consultant and have worked in the urethanes industry for 30 years and have been retained by companies including PLCs to provide technical appraisal during acquisition procedures.

The drawings attached, describe a process which I am confident is of both sound and practical methodology and could be successfully applied to implement the manufacture of Ornate Framing and 3D Architectural Ornamentation. Further I endorse the observation made by FIRA in their letter to Mr Bendien.

I am familiar with a system not entirely dissimilar currently employed in the Automotive Industry for the high volume manufacture of dashboards and arm rests, which has been used in this manner for more than 30 years.

However, Mr Bendien’s approach makes use of several novel features which he has personally invented. These features are not common to the Automotive Industry and appear to hold important Intellectual Property Rights.

It is my opinion that Mr Bendien’s RAFT process has solved some fundamental encumbrances and thereby has created key advantages in several areas over current PU Technology
